I want my work to feel intimate and generous. I want to create a lush experience through my work, for myself and for the viewer.   The art is meant to linger in the delicate and memorable ‘thin place’ of your psyche. As an artist, I want to create an emotional impression causing you to ask yourself what what you might not be seeing on the surface.

My work portrays a strong sense of romance via light, subject matter and brush stroke. Brush stroke specifically inherent to the sensual and feminine form. The human form and nature are organic, and comprise of soft, yet energetic feminine lines.

I am interested in femininity because, I believe all women possess an inherent mystery, strength and sensuality. Femininity, energy and grace are intertwined,  and are underlying themes in my art.

We are caught in a world where a dichotomy has been created between sensuality and feminism. Women’s power and grace should not fit someone’s else's mold. Beauty comes in many different forms and it is a mistake to label a sensual, feminine woman as fragile or weak. Art needs to become our next hero and role model. It can stand up to the tests where other mentors, celebrities and influencers  cannot. Art never fails you because you are having an emotional experience with it. If my art can mentor the hero in your  story, then I have done good work.
